Catholic Charities Indianapolis is recognized by the Department of Justice to provide immigration legal servcies at nominal fees. We consider it a privilege to serve our clients who may otherwise not be able to receive the services needed in order to make their lives better. We believe that by providing immigration legal services, we are assisting in the strengthening of families and the enrichment of the future of our clients.

Catholic Charities ILS will respond to the needs of immigrant communities by:

    1. Offering professional immigration legal services to low-income, vulnerable immigrants and refugees;
    2. Connecting immigrants with education services and resources that include Citizenship instruction for preparation of the Naturalization interview;
    3. Referring clients to basic human services that are specific to an immigrant's situation

 

Catholic Charities ILS schedules one-on-one consultations with persons seeking an immigration benefit. At the consultation, an ILS staff member will determine if the client is eligible for the immigration benefit and whether there are any circumstances in the case that might pose a problem. If eligible, we will provide a list of information and documents needed at the second appointment.

ILS can schedule appointments over the phone, by e-mail, or through this website. At this time, we are not able to take walk-in appointments.
